Imagine a world…
… Where we can embed a read only version of our Plutio task list for any given project into a website of our choosing. We might use this for such crazy things as client portals or public projects.
Well this is actually possible. Not only that, it’s a built in feature of Plutio!
Read only task boards that show their status (ticked or not) and are clickable to view descriptions. Embedded in your own website. Neat!
See an example on the Plutio Widgets Roadmap page, and read on to find out how to do it yourself.
Here’s how to do it in just a few clicks:
- From the project options menu located on the top right, click on “Share”.
- Set the sharing to Anybody with a link can view and then choose the task boards you would like to embed (this means you can keep some task boards private and just embed the ones you want people to see), then click on the “Generate Embed Code” button to generate and copy the HTML code.
- Paste the code on any webpage to load your chosen task boards there.
And your job is done!
Pro tip: The embed code has a colour code in it. Change this colour code to alter the background of the embedded task board and blend it in to your website for a properly built in look!
