Hello neater lists!
Plutio rolled out an update today that changes the way list views are handled and brings an end to those wonky project lists that we’ve all come to know and love!
Now when viewing the list view in most places within Plutio (like project lists, timesheets, invoice & proposal lists) your lists will be formatted in a table that looks much cleaner:
Phew!
We’re loving this update as our OCD was definitely not happy with the previous layout of columns not lining up neatly. You might notice though that, although the columns line up nicely within each table, they’re not the same size from one table to the next. Check out the status columns in the two tables shown in the above screenshot.
Of course, we do like to dabble, so on our agency Plutio we’ve tweaked the look further. We use a technique that allows us to inject our own CSS to Plutio (look out for a blog post on that soon!).
We used this method to line things up and make a few tweaks to the look of the progress bars and the project colour labels – and of course add a little of our purple brand colour:
Extra quality of life update!
Sneaked in along with this tables update is the ability to edit certain table elements direct from the list, without having to click through to the item first.
This is most noticable on the timesheets, where you can now just click a table cell to edit rather than having to open the timesheet record to adjust things. Great for quick on the go tweaks!
How are you liking the new look?
